We get it — it’s sometimes hard to keep track of everything going on in Disney World, and sometimes there’s just so much news, things feel a little chaotic.

Just this week alone, we’ve covered the return of Annual Pass sales, a TON of details about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and a makeover coming to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. So let’s narrow things down a bit and look at just what’s been going on in Magic Kingdom, shall we?
When Disney World introduced Genie+, EVERYTHING changed.

We suddenly had to learn the ins and outs of how best to use Genie+, help you decide if it’s worth it, and learn all about every tip and trick we could figure out. But Genie+ has actually changed a LOT since it was first introduced in 2021, so we’re going to go over those changes to make sure you’re as up to date as possible on ALL of the features of the service.
For the past few years, EPCOT has been in the middle of a MASSIVE transformation.
EPCOT at Disney World
The park has seen plenty of updates, from new restaurants and rides to new gift shops. Walkways have changed and theming has been updated, and Disney even split the park into four “neighborhoods.” And recently, as a sign of all these changes, we spotted a new addition in the park!
Welcome to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where you can step into some of the most iconic movies and TV shows.
Tower of Terror
You can get shrunk down to a toy in Toy Story Land or sign up for the Resistance in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. You can even take a deep plunge into The Twilight Zone or join Mickey & Minnie on a picnic getaway gone haywire. You can also find some iconic eats here (hello, Carrot Cake Cookie), but some new things have turned up in Hollywood Studios recently, so let’s get you updated!
When it comes to amazing food and great shopping, Disney Springs really can’t be beat.

First, you don’t even need a park ticket to go there because it’s free! Second, it’s home to the LARGEST Disney store in the world (World of Disney). Third, it also has some of the BEST restaurants (hello, Wine Bar George and Homecomin‘) AND snack spots (we’re lookin’ at you, Gideon’s Bakehouse). So let’s hop on over to Disney Springs to see what’s new!
Magic Kingdom is THE place to be right now, which probably explains why it’s nearly impossible to get park pass reservations there this week.
Main Street U.S.A.
A lot of that has to do with the official opening of TRON Lightcycle / Run, but we’re also seeing a lot of Spring Break crowds, Easter crowds, and Happily Ever After fans showing up in the parks. While all that is going on, though, we’ve been checking out everything new, so let’s get on with some updates.

EPCOT
EPCOT has been going through a huge transformation recently, which is expected to wrap up at the end of this year. All the construction walls haven’t stopped us from enjoying our time in the park, though! While we were there on a recent trip, we spotted some restocked merch that we wanted to let you know about.
It’s hard to believe Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration is over.

We spent 18 months enjoying all the fun decor, merchandise, and more during the festivities. However, we MOSTLY enjoyed all the great snacks, but now that the celebration is over, menus at Disney World restaurants have changed.
Frozen fans are NEVER going to “Let It Go.”

Frozen recently took over part of Disney World’s Blizzard Beach. Frozen-themed lands are planned for Disneyland Paris and Tokyo DisneySea. Frozen Ever After almost always has long lines at EPCOT in Disney World. But we’ll admit we were still surprised when we learned that a Frozen 3 was in the works. We weren’t the only ones, though.
Lately, we’ve seen tons of changes in the Disney World parks.
Changes are coming!
Princesses are back at Cinderella’s Royal Table, and we can also look forward to the temporary return of nighttime shows like Happily Ever After and EPCOT Forever. But it’s not just the parks that are undergoing changes — Disney Springs is getting some adjustments too!
