It’s an exciting time when we get to reunite with our favorite Disney World restaurants.
Animal Kingdom Lodge
We already spent the morning at a reopened Boma in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (and we’ll be back for dinner at the first buffet to reopen in Disney World). Now, though, we’re visiting ANOTHER relaxing spot at this resort that just returned today!
By the end of the year, ALL of the current Disney World resorts will have reopened!

Even though we are still waiting on a few more resorts to reopen, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is set to reopen to all guests VERY soon on August 26th! Before that date, Boma is reopening with a buffet and an updated menu. Now, we know another spot at the resort is reopening soon!
We spend a lot of time sipping on libations in Disney World, and we’ve got some THOUGHTS.

When it comes to a happy hour beverage, a night out with your spouse or some friends, or — let’s face it — a margarita at the stroke of noon…there are a few spots in Walt Disney World that get the job done better than others!

We were so excited when Trader Sam’s came to the east coast, and it has proved itself to be every bit as fun and exciting as its Disneyland counterpart. Located at Polynesian Village Resort, Trader Sam’s transports you to the tropics and slings some funky attitude along with its awesome drinks. Step into the whacky Grog Grotto, where some of the drinks come with a show.

You guys know I’m always looking for new, fun drinks to try, and I had a field day on my recent trip to Orlando! Here are just a few of my new favorites:
Yak and Yeti: Shaved Ice Martini
A.K.A. — the snow cone. This fun drink comes in three flavors — Grape, Cherry, and Citrus/Melon. I chose the shockingly bright green version, which included vodka, midori, and pineapple juice along with my (beloved) sweet and sour. The presentation is the best part, but who WOULDN’T want to try an alcoholic snow cone?! Find it at Yak and Yeti Restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Citrus Shaved Ice Martini
La Luce by Donna Scala: Limonata
