Welcome back, friends! We’re back in Disney Springs to see what’s new!
And, we’ve got plenty of food, merchandise, construction, and entertainment updates to share with you, so let’s get to it!
We brought you along with us to see the reopening of Disney-owned locations in Disney Springs this week.
In the days before these locations opened, Disney Springs was consistently pretty quiet. But the morning World of Disney reopened, things were bonkers. We’re talking a six hour wait bonkers. But we’re back in Disney Springs again today to see if crowds are still steady.
It was BUSY in Disney Springs today. It was so busy, in fact, that we experienced something we have yet to see: a virtual queue to access a retail store!
With wait times for World of Disney topping off at SIX HOURS, it’s clear that Disney fans were ready to shop. Let’s recap what our experience was like today, and what we may be able to expect in the future as the theme parks reopen!
Even if you’ve got a slew of Disney World experiences under your belt, there are probably still a few things about the parks that don’t make a whole lot of sense!
That’s why we’re gonna examine five common issues that, even to this day, still confuse some self-proclaimed Disney World experts — even US!
If you recently sensed a great disturbance in The Force today, we think we might know why!
You see, while we’ve been SUPER excited to get our hands on the new Star Wars Day merch that was added to shopDisney today, we haven’t been able to get the website to work!
Tomorrow is May the fourth, or STAR WARS DAY, and we have our eyes on some new merchandise releasing for the occasion!
We have our galactic credits ready, our bounty list in hand, and it looks like shopDisney is looking to restore balance to the Force with a new, virtual queue for shoppers.
The parks may be closed “until further notice,” but we are already thinking of Disney days ahead.
Once we step into the A.C. (after closure) era of Disney Parks, we suspect many things will likely be different to accommodate health and safety concerns. We certainly don’t want to miss out on any of our favorite attractions; but we expect some elements of attractions may have to change, possibly including how we queue up for those rides.
And we think there’s a pretty solid option out there for how we can ride all our favorite rides AND still keep a healthy, safe distance.
Everyone has their own unique strategy for how they like to tackle all four of the Disney World theme parks during their vacations!
And while many folks swear by rope dropping — the correct way to rope drop remains shrouded in mystery for many (you may not even know what a rope drop IS!).
If you’ve been following along with our coverage of Hollywood Studios’ Rise of the Resistance since it’s grand opening back in December, then you know how tricky getting into a coveted boarding group for the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge major attraction has been at Disney World!
And with Disneyland’s Rise of the Resistance poised to open on January 17th, here’s what you’ll need to know to ensure your place in line at the west coast’s version of the ride!
We’ve been hard at work in the parks scoping out all the latest news for you! First, a few things to remember…
We have a lot to share with you this week, so let’s jump right in…
