Walt Disney Animation Studios production management workers have ratified their first union contract with the studio, per Variety.

The agreement follows an organizing effort that saw a supermajority of workers vote to unionize in February 2023. It was ratified with 96% voter participation and 93% support.

The highly anticipated sequel to Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 2016 hit Moana has been near the top of my most anticipated 2024 movies list for quite some time. Despite the stiff competition it will face at the box office this weekend, especially from Wicked, it’s safe to say many agree with me and will flock to theaters to go on another adventure with Moana. Reviews are starting to roll in and they’ve been mostly positive, but it hasn’t been all smooth sailing for Moana 2. If you’re on the fence about taking your family to see this new movie, read below to see what I thought about Disney’s latest epic!
Frozen director Jennifer Lee is not saying a whole lot about the much-anticipated Frozen sequel that is currently in pre-production.

For instance, the new Cirque du Soleil show in Disney Springs, Drawn to Life, had a significantly delayed opening due to the global health crisis. Last year, it finally did open but now, it seems there has been a sudden cancellation of a performance.
While the Disney Parks are filled with shows, characters, and rides, there is also A LOT to do outside of the parks, including quite a few things that you might now know about!
Cirque du Soleil at Disney Springs
There are dinner shows at select Disney World hotels (though these are currently suspended), an entire shopping and dining district that is FREE to visit, and more. And, after a 19-month delay, there’s now a brand NEW show that you can only see if you’re visiting Disney World!
Raya and the Last Dragon will premiere on Disney+ Premiere Access and in theaters in a few short weeks!

We can’t wait to follow Raya on her mission to find the last dragon and restore her fractured land its people. And just this morning, Disney shared that TWO new Raya experiences are coming to the parks. When it comes to the film, if you’re planning to head to the theaters to watch the premiere, you’ll have the chance to see Disney’s newest short right before the movie!
We already know that Moana will be getting her OWN walk-through attraction at EPCOT, but that isn’t the only exciting new thing on the horizon for this fan-favorite Disney princess!
