We’ve got some BIG events coming up in Disney World in 2023!
The Festival of the Arts is kicking off in a few weeks at EPCOT, and After Hours events are returning to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios in January. But one of the first things that’s coming up soon is the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend from runDisney, and we just got a sneak peek at the event merchandise!
We’re heading into 2023 PUMPED UP and ready for the new year!
We’ve got a lot of excitement happening in Disney World in the next 12 months with the opening of TRON Lightcycle Run, Roundup Rodeo BBQ, Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana, and more! But before all that happens, we’ve got to make it through January. And there are 5 big things that you definitely don’t want to miss in Disney World this month!
It’s not always easy to decide what time of year to visit Disney World.
Do you take advantage of school or holiday breaks? Visit in the summer for the warm heat? Plan your trips around EPCOT festivals or runDisney marathons? Or, you might plan around one very specific Disney World element — CROWDS. Some people don’t mind them but others will avoid them at all costs. So what are the crowds like in January? We’re here to break it down for you!
It’s January in Disney World! The holiday season is wrapping up, the crowds are hopefully thinning out, and we might even see some of that rare “winter” weather.
If you’re planning to be in Disney World this month, you might think that January is a relatively quiet time in the parks. And, while that does have some truth to it, that doesn’t mean there’s nothing going on! So, we’re here to tell you about the best things to do in Disney World in January!
Since Disney World reopened, SO many things have changed.
All of the resorts are reopening by the end of the year, several restaurants are reopening for guests again, and now in person runDisney events are returning soon! The Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend will happen this November, and the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend will take place this January. We recently learned about the themes for the runDisney races, but if you want to participate, you’ve gotta act FAST!
We’ve been hard at work scoping out all the latest news for you. Today we have all the details on what’s happening due to the ongoing closures and more.
Due to the current global situation, ALL Disney Parks will be closed until further notice. See all of our coverage HERE.
We have a lot to share with you this week, so let’s jump right in…
The 2021 Walt Disney World Marathon might seem pretty far off, but it’s still being affected by the current Disney World closure.
Registration for the 2021 Walt Disney World Marathon was supposed to open yesterday. Today, we noticed that it hadn’t. It appears that runDisney has quietly pushed back the opening of registration for the upcoming event. Here’s what we know.
It’s that time of year again! Runners and racers are prepping for the Disney World Marathon and Half-Marathon! For many runners, prepping = carbs, and the Disney World Swan and Dolphin have you covered this year!
The resorts’ restaurants will offer special Pre-Race meals this weekend for Disney Marathon and Half-Marathon runners. These meals will help you load up on carbs the evening before each race!
