Disney-owned locations won’t be opening until May 27th, but third-party stores and restaurants opened today with new health and safety guidelines. So we’re heading to the dock for a bite to eat and a view of the lagoon!

We’ve been keeping you updated with all of the restaurants that plan to re-open tomorrow, but Earl of Sandwich, Chicken Guy!, and Planet Hollywood just released more information on how they plan to protect guests at the re-opening.

So today we’re laying out a timeline of when you can expect to see Christmas decor popping up all throughout the Most Magical Place on Earth just in case it helps your planning!
When Disney World closed to the public back in March, Disney announced that all Florida Resident Discover Disney tickets may be used until July 31, 2020.

However, the parks still remain closed and Disney World Resort hotel reservations are currently not listed as available until July 1st. Consequently, Disney decided to extend the Discover Disney Ticket eligibility date.
Disney just announced that Disney Springs in Walt Disney World Resort will begin a phased reopening on May 20th. (You can read more details here.)

Along with the announcement, updates have been made to the Walt Disney World website regarding the reopening of the Resort. At this time, a phased reopening has only been announced for Disney Springs — the rest of the Resort remains closed until further notice.
