We’re creeping closer and closer to Halloween.
Spooky snack season is here!
Of course, we’ve been celebrating Halloween in Disney World since August, but we’re still finding new Halloween treats in the park (how about a spooky drink flight?). We’re also keeping an eye on Disney World restaurant menus, so here are all the changes we found this week!
Although a holiday weekend isn’t a guarantee for large crowds in Disney World, it does make it more likely.
What are crowds like this weekend?
On previous holiday weekends, we’ve seen everything from large crowds to small crowds that surprised us. With Monday being a holiday, though, we have to wonder — what are the crowds like right now? Well, let’s find out!
There are so many amazing snacks in Disney World right now, many of them only available for a limited time.
Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs
We’ve been indulging in some delicious treats for Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month. We’ve also enjoyed some wonderful fall-themed treats. Of course, we’ve also been digging into a load of Halloween snacks. Now, a NEW limited-time snack is available in Disney World, but you’ll have to ACT FAST.
Although we’re excited to have an opening timeline for TRON Lightcycle Run in Magic Kingdom, we really can’t wait for the Walt Disney World Railroad to return.
Fantasyland station
As you may know, the construction of the TRON ride has affected the railroad’s route, so it’s been closed for a while. We’ve seen a new tunnel built under TRON, which will be part of the railroad’s new path. Today, though, we saw A NEW update that could mean we’re one step closer to seeing the Railroad reopen!
We’re fully into spooky season now, and Disney has been putting on all the celebrations!
Mickey pumpkins!
You can go to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, eat all of those pumpkin snacks, grab some fun merch, or even take some pics in front of those awesome pumpkins. With all of these festivities, it might make the parks more crowded during this time. Let’s find out by checking out the wait times from this past week in Disney World!

From the cost of transportation (although we have seen some good flight deals recently) to the cost of staying at a Disney World hotel (although you could choose NOT to) to the price of food and drinks, it can be a lot. Then there’s also the cost of park tickets, but what if you could get those for free?
Hurricane Ian recently left a swath of devastation across the state of Florida, but hurricane season isn’t over yet.

We’ve already told you what to expect in Disney World during a hurricane, and we’ve given you details on some of Disney World’s cancelation policies concerning hurricanes. We’ve also talked about the possibility of another hurricane affecting Disney World soon. Now, a new tropical storm is set to become a hurricane, so we’re looking at if it would impact Florida.
Disney World is always changing, growing, and evolving into something else, and that means there is almost always some kind of construction going on.

We’re still following the progress of the upcoming Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana attraction at EPCOT, as well as keeping an eye on when Splash Mountain in Magic Kingdom will close for its retheming. We’ve also been following along with the progress of the new DVC villas coming to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and now we’ve got some photos to share with you as part of the latest update. Let’s take a few minutes and see what this area looks like now.
Yes, we’re already seeing holiday merchandise in shops, but for the time being, we are in peak spooky season.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party is still going on, the Halloween decorations are still up in Disney World, and we’re still discovering new Halloween snacks. In fact, we’re trying one right now and this one has a Hocus Pocus inspiration!
