Now, you can PRE-BOOK your Lightning Lanes! We’ve been testing all the ways this updated service can work for you, and we need to talk about one simple step that can make a BIG difference.Â

Well, we could have called this one. In case you haven’t heard, Disney just made BIG changes to its paid skip-the-line service, now called Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass. As a quick refresher, Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes are now called Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass. There is a lot to learn about the new system, and we’ve got reporters in Disney World testing all kinds of Lightning Lane situations. But during our experimentation, we already started to notice some problems — let’s talk about them!

Under the FastPass+ system, you could book ride reservations BEFORE your trip, giving you access to shorter lines throughout the day. Why are we bringing this up right now? Well, Disney just implemented some HUGE changes to its current (paid) skip-the-line service, and some of the new features sound pretty familiar.
