I’m going to tell you a little story about how I was basically raised to be a sucker for Disney pins, and it is through no fault of my own that I am now a pin collector.
We love pins!
My first trip to Disney World happened when I was two years old. Aww, a junior Disney fan in the making! Naturally, I loved the princesses, the characters, and the souvenirs. In fact, I took Disney pins seriously from a young age. I traded for a Snow White pin that I still have to this day. I bought some Disney princess pins in the gift shops. I was hooked. It’s not my fault that Disney got to me at a young age! Well…years later, I’m still buying and trading pins. My collection has grown over time, and (unfortunately) the prices have grown, too.
We love Disney World. We love the rides. We love the entertainment. We love the FOOD. We love the sights. The SMELLS. It’s a great time!

A BIG day for a brand new Disney World restaurant has finally arrived and there’s one burning question on everyone’s mind — “Is it worth the hefty price tag?”
The Cake Bake Shop Bakery is OPEN!
We’ve been waiting forever for one of Disney World’s newest restaurants to finally allow us to step inside. While we’ve patiently awaited its completed construction, seen a neighboring restaurant open up well before it, and even made a price adjustment BEFORE welcoming in its first visitors, today was the day we finally got our first chance to step inside — and we are surprised to be saying this — but it may have been worth the wait!

We got creative at the EPCOT Festival of the Arts. We went green for the Flower and Garden Festival. We even snacked our way around the world at the Food and Wine Festival. But soon, the final festival of the year will return to EPCOT; the International Festival of the Holidays will run from November 29th through December 30th! The event begins the day after Thanksgiving — just in time for the holiday season.

Well, we just got a look at the menus for this year, and we do know that the Candlelight Processional will return, along with the Holiday Storytellers, Â Joyful: A Celebration of the Season, and two classic holiday attraction overlays. Don’t be fooled! Just because summer is over does NOT mean the rainy season is finished in Disney World. In fact, hurricane season runs all the way through November 30th! Prepare for at least one or two downpours during your trip.
