EPCOT has been a hotbed of activity in Disney World for several years now.

The park is still in the middle of a massive transformation, and if you’ve visited recently, you’ve probably been surrounded by construction walls in the front of the park. That’s because Imagineers are working on a new Moana-themed attraction, as well as some other things. But what else is going on at EPCOT? Well, let’s find out.

First, this is where all those AMAZING festivals take place, with all those great food booths (we’re currently enjoying the EPCOT Festival of the Arts). Plus you can literally travel AROUND the world without ever leaving the park. Then there are the rides — Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind anyone? So let’s see what’s been going on at EPCOT recently.

Disney Springs
Disney World likes to stay busy with tons of new merchandise in the parks, potential new theme park projects, and the upcoming Tron opening. While we wait for some of those bigger items to happen, we’re heading to Disney Springs to give you updates on everything that’s new!
There’s no doubt that Disney’s Hollywood Studios offers a lot when it comes to entertaining guests.
Tower of Terror
However, the popular thrill ride Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster is scheduled for maintenance and will be closed for a lengthy refurbishment period starting on February 20th, 2023. Disney hasn’t announced an exact reopening date, but says the ride should reopen sometime in the summer.
They say January is the slowest month of the year, but it doesn’t feel that way when it comes to Disney news!

The first month of 2023 zipped by thanks to tons of news, including the closure of an attraction as well as the start of Disney’s 100th Anniversary celebrations. February is here and has already brought its fair share of updates!
