The DFB is back with another fun What’s New at Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom and Animal Kingdom-Area Resorts!
This Funfetti Donut Cake Pop at Creature Comforts is super fun! And since it’s shaped like a donut, that makes this cake pop breakfast-approved, right? You can find these at all the Starbucks in Disney World for a limited time.

Are you and Mom spending Mother’s Day together in The Most Magical Place on Earth (Disney World) OR The Happiest Place on Earth (Disneyland)? Well, in addition to the Disney World Brunch options we’ve shared with you previously, we’ve got even more options to add, including specialty snacks and additional Brunches in Disney World, AND special meal options in Disneyland!
Sunshine Seasons will serve a Mother’s Day Dessert with raspberry mousse and lemon cake topped with a Swiss buttercream rose and fondant pearls on Mother’s Day.
But if you’re at Epcot a bit earlier, find a vanilla Mother’s Day Cupcake with raspberry white chocolate mousse and pink icing at Fountain View from May 11 – 13.
In Animal Kingdom, stop by Creature Comforts and Isle of Java for a vanilla Mother’s Day Cupcake filled with white chocolate raspberry mousse and topped with buttercream flowers.
So…a poutine cloud apparently burst over Orlando and now you can get varieties of this relatively obscure French Canadian pub grub delicacy pretty much everywhere in Disney World. There’s even a dining spot completely dedicated to poutine.
The dish traditionally consists of French fries covered in cheese curds and brown gravy, and Canadians will cheerfully tell you that NONE of the dishes below qualify. Yet they’re called Poutine on the menu, and since we love french fries with stuff piled on top of them, we’re happy to tally them up for you!
Oh, and here’s some real Canadian poutine for reference.
So here’s the Disney World Poutine Crawl!
is the most recent addition to the poutine World and can be found at the Refreshment Port in Epcot.

Who’s ready for a little cloak and dagger? Because today, we’re goin’ all undercover and stuff in our latest DFB Video, as we tell all about The Secret Menu at Disney’s all Star Movies Resort!
While the food items you’ll discover when you seek out the secret menu are pretty rad, there’s also a whole thing you go through to find out about them — and it’s nearly as cool as the menu itself! [Read more…]
Wanna know a secret? Then come with me to World Premiere Food Court at All Star Movies Resort for an AMAZING one!!
The Food Courts at the All Star Resorts — Sports, Music, and Movies (which is the Resort we’re visiting today) — are pretty fun places. Since the All Stars land in the category of Value Resorts, they don’t offer a Table Service restaurant. So that means the Resort Food Courts are extra big and packed with options to feed the huge numbers of guests in these sprawling Resorts.
That said, the menus tend to cater to the masses primarily with safe bets like pizza, hot dogs, and the like. While the All Stars Food Court counterparts — Pop Century’s Everything Pop and the Art of Animation Resort’s Landscape of Flavors — raised the bar in providing some more unique options, the All Star Resort Food Courts… well, let’s just say they’ve never exactly been what you might call a place of intrigue.
Until now… thanks to the arrival of a few SECRET MENU ITEMS at World Premiere Food Court! And seriously, this is pretty darn cool!
Our stealth, on-the-scene reporter snuck in to the food court in a trench coat and fedora. [Read more…]

We’d like to welcome guest author Sarah Gurung today!! She’s sharing her dining experiences at World Premiere Food Court during a Walt Disney World family vacation. Savories and sweets, read on!
Hello, Disney food lovers! My family of three (with one on the way) returned from a magical trip to the World, and it is my pleasure to bring you a review of All-Star Movies’ food court, thematically called the World Premiere Food Court.
Our party of three included my husband (decidedly not picky), my five-year-old (decidedly five-years-old), and myself (decidedly hungry all the time); and we managed to eat at the resort more times than I anticipated. Typically, we ate dinner here after a long day at the parks, famished and exhausted.
We were on a modified quick service dining plan, which allotted us one meal per person per night. Being moderately frugal, we decided to stretch this plan as far as we could by sharing meals. We often substituted a drink and/or a dessert in order to supplement with additional sides, and this was never a problem for the cast members at check-out. They all seemed well-versed in the Plan and good-naturedly accommodated these substitutions.
