We are at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event this weekend, and so far, it has absolutely proved itself to be ULTIMATE.

Star Tours in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

We got to talk to a Rocket Raccoon that literally threw shade at us. We saw trailers for some AMAZING upcoming movies, including Mufasa, the live-action Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, a first look at live-action Stitch, and SO MUCH MORE. We even got to see a ride vehicle for an upcoming Avengers Campus attraction! Y’all — we’re just getting started. However, there is something we just saw that might be the BEST THING EVER.

10 Closures Will Continue This Week in Disney World

Disney World will continue to see closures this coming week.

We’ve been keeping tabs on several closures around Disney World for a while now. While nothing new will close this week, several attractions, restaurants, and an entire water park will be closed the week of August 10th through August 17th. If you’re headed to the parks, be aware that a few rides, shows, and restaurants will not be open and operating.

We’re Trying A CREEPY Clam Flatbread in Disney World — And We’re Not Sure How We Feel About It

Halloween season has officially kicked off in Disney World, along with the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom. We’re checking OUT everything we can at the party, but most importantly, we’re trying the FOOD.

The party runs on select nights from August 9th through October 31st, and there is a lot to see, do, and more importantly…eat! A ticket will get you the opportunity to meet rare characters, see exclusive entertainment, ride your favorite attractions with shorter wait times, and get exclusive snacks. There are our favorite characters dressed up in their Halloween costumes, and lots of new merchandise. Rain is expected during a Disney World day almost all throughout the year because that’s just part of Florida’s climate! However, hurricane season brings something else entirely into the mix — tropical storms and hurricanes can seemingly come out of nowhere, and they can do so over and over again. We just got past Hurricane Debby, and now there’s another storm brewing in the sea that could bring another round to Floridians.
