Disney is no stranger to lawsuits, and we finally have an update on one that could impact you.

Back in November 2022, we learned that YouTube TV subscribers had brought a class-action lawsuit against Disney alleging that the company’s ownership of ESPN and Hulu has caused them to pay MORE for their subscriptions than they otherwise would have to if ESPN wasn’t part of the base package. Disney previously filed a motion to dismiss the case, and here’s how that’s going.

Splash Mountain in Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland closed about a year and a half ago, and Disney has been busy turning the ride into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. We have loved A LOT of things in Disney World that have suddenly disappeared.

We know that Disney World changes, and we have to accept that some of the best attractions, restaurants, shops, and accommodations won’t be around forever as they may eventually be revamped into something new or taken away completely. The day has finally come! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is officially OPEN at Disney World!

Going forward, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be available to ride as part of Disney Genie+, which is soon to be called Lightning Lane Multi Pass. That means this ride does NOT have an individual (or a la carte) Lightning Lane. To ride, you can purchase Genie+ for Magic Kingdom (or get the multi-park Genie+ option) and reserve a Lightning Lane for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Or, you can join the FREE virtual queue for the ride, meaning Disney will send you a notification when it’s your turn to ride. So…you’re probably wondering…how fast did Genie+ sell out on OPENING DAY? Well, we’re here to tell ya!
