And, as CDC recommendations continue to change, many theme parks are considering making more adjustments to their policies. We’ve already seen one major theme park in the U.S. allow guests to remove their face masks in outdoor settings, and now another is relaxing their guidelines.

Celebration of The Festival of The Lion King
Although much of Disney World’s entertainment was suspended when the parks reopened, we’re starting to see some shows return to the parks. And one of the most popular shows at Disney World, a modified version of Festival of the Lion King at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, soft opened this past week!

Some of the Stitches have been befuddling (Spaghetti Stitch, aka Lady and the Tramp Stitch), others have been straight-up scary (the red eyes on The Lion King Stitch haunt our dreams). But, this month’s release, tied to The Little Mermaid, is the first in this line that has us thinking…alright, we could maybe buy that.
Disney World has required face masks on property since the parks reopened in July 2020.

Right now, all guests are required to wear an approved face covering at ALL times, unless when actively eating or drinking while stationary, or while taking outdoor photos. However, with COVID-19 vaccines rolling out throughout the country and states planning a return to “normal,” we’re taking a look at when we could see these policies shift.
A lot of planning goes into what you’ll be doing while you’re at Walt Disney World, but you don’t always put quite as much brainpower to how you’ll get there.

Earlier today, the Walt Disney Company held their quarterly earnings call for Q2 of their 2021 fiscal year, giving us a better idea at the company’s financial status at the moment.
