Universal Stella Nova Resort, which we are exploring on this page, is NOW OPEN as of January 21st, 2025! (Terra Luna Resort, Stella Nova’s sister property, is also now open as of March 25th, 2025.) The hotels “place guests in the center of marvelous galaxies and diverse planetary elements for an experience unlike anywhere else in the universe – complete with tranquil sleeping accommodations, entertaining amenities for the whole family to enjoy, various cosmic-inspired dining options and so much more.”

Specifically, Stella Nova is cosmic in theme, “inspired by the infinite vastness of the unexplored universe, where galaxies spiral ever outward and unknown worlds revolve around unnamed stars.” (Fun Fact: The space images in the lobby are all actual images from NASA, recreated for Universal’s lobby!)

Together, both hotels offer 1,500 “ultramodern” rooms with rates starting at $147 per night (plus tax) based on a stay of four nights or more. Stella Nova Resort is one of Universal Orlando’s Prime Value Resort Hotels which is the lowest-priced category offering only standard guest rooms (as opposed to Suites).
