Walt Disney World offers three Resort hotel levels: Value, Moderate, and Deluxe. Disney’s Beach Club Resort is a Deluxe Resort located near EPCOT. The Beach Club is also home to Disney Vacation Club Villas. 

Deluxe amenities, fun Resort activities and unique options for recreation, a wide range of dining options (including Character Dining), a pool that is actually more like a hidden water park, and much more make up Disney’s Beach Club.

Disney’s Beach Club Atmosphere

Seaside New England serves as the inspiration for Disney’s Beach Club.

The Beach Club is the sister Resort to the attached Yacht Club Resort.

Where the Yacht Club immerses guests in a classic nautical setting, the Beach Club presents casual, bright and airy vibe.

And it’s all literally just steps away from EPCOT!

Guests can take a quick stroll from the Beach Club to EPCOT’s International Gateway (between the park’s United Kingdom and France pavilions).

Dining

Guests at The Beach Club have an array of dining options to enjoy, from Disney Character Dining to Quick Service restaurants to a relaxing lounge, and beyond!

Table Service Restaurants

Cape May Cafe features an all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast buffet with Disney pals! Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast is one of the best places to see some of the most beloved Disney characters outside of the parks.

Though Disney characters are not present during Dinner, the evening buffet meal serves up something unique, too, as all-you-can-eat surf-and-turf gets the spotlight with plenty for landlubbers and seafood fans to enjoy!

Ah, Beaches and Cream… THIS is the place to go for classic diner eats and GIGANTIC ice cream sundaes in Walt Disney World!

Tucked between the Yacht Club and Beach Club Resorts, this authentic soda counter restaurant is decked out in pastels and is complete with a jukebox. And it’s possibly best known for being home to the famous Kitchen Sink: an eight-scoop ice cream sundae (made for sharing with the whole group) served up with EVERY TOPPING in the house!

Counter Service Dining

Beach Club Marketplace is the quick service location AND gift shop at the Beach Club.

Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the Beach Club Marketplace has a limited menu of hot meals along with some stellar grab-and-go and pastry options.

Bars and Lounges

Martha’s Vineyard is a relaxing spot to get a bite and a drink in the evening hours.

Specialty cocktails, craft drafts, wines, and a full bar menu are available. The cuisine (a small selection of appetizers) is inspired by a Northeastern clambake, with comforting seafood favorites like clam chowder served alongside a few pub classics like chicken wings.

Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar and Grill is the Pool Bar for Stormalong Bay!

Thankfully a few substantial entrees (like burgers and chicken nuggets) are on the menu along with the drinks, because you won’t want to leave this amazing pool area!

And remember, all of the restaurants at Disney Yacht Club Resort are easily accessible to Beach Club guests! These include:

• Ale & Compass Restaurant (Casual Table Service)
• The Market at Ale & Compass (Quick Service)

Guest Rooms

Disney’s Beach Club features standard guest rooms with either 1 King Bed or 1 King Bed and 1 Day Bed OR 2 Queen Beds or 2 Queen Beds and 1 Day Bed, as well as Club Level Rooms and Suites (up to a Presidential Suite which sleeps up to 7 adults). For standard rooms, guests may choose a Standard View, a Resort View, a Water View, or a Deluxe Room. 

Here, we’re taking a look at a Standard Room with Two Queen Beds which can sleep up to 5 adults.

The bright and airy feel of the Resort extends to the guest rooms as well.

Features include a coffee bar with a mini fridge.

A large TV is placed above a 4-drawer and 2-cabinet dresser.

A desk offers not only a small space to take care of a few tasks…

… but it also surprises with a hidden desk tucked underneath for additional table space, if needed!

A balcony provides a respite with two chairs and a small table in between.

The bathroom features a large mirror along with a small accent mirror.

Double sinks are a greatly appreciated feature by many families!

As is the case with many Disney World hotels, the shower area is separate from the sink area with a sliding pocket door (so more than one guest can get ready at once).

Studios and Disney Deluxe Villas

The Beach Club Villas offer Deluxe Studios along with 1- and 2-Bedroom Villas that sleep up to 8 adults.

Deluxe Studios can sleep up to 5 adults and feature a kitchenette and a sleeper sofa. The Villas offer a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, and separate bedrooms.

While these are Disney Vacation Club properties, guests needn’t be members to book the Villas.

Amenities, Activities, and Recreation

Welcome to Stormalong Bay! This 3-acre water recreation area is available exclusively to both Yacht and Beach Club guests.

Stormalong Bay is a destination all its own. This pool complex is practically its own mini-water park, with sand at the bottom, a lazy river, 3 whirlpool spas, and a tanning deck!

Kiddos (and adults) can take on the 230-footlong ‘shipwrecked’ themed water slide, while Shipwreck pool with its own mini waterslide is available just for the little ones.

Guests who prefer a little more quiet can take advantage of any of the 3 additional leisure pools.

The Front Desk will provide you with information about current Resort Activities which may include options like Movies Under the Stars, Pool Parties, evening Campfires, and additional activities for a nominal fee such as Arts and Crafts that you can take home.

You will also see signs alerting to the day’s and week’s activities around the Resort so you don’t miss any of the fun! For example, we spotted a sign for a class called Painting in the Vineyard, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled!

More opportunities for fun and fitness include the Lafferty Place Arcade and the 24-hour Ship Shape Health Club.

Additional recreation options include boat rentals at the Bayside Marina, bike rentals, jogging trails, and volleyball and tennis courts.

2-hour and 4-hour Guided Fishing Excursions may even be booked by calling (407) 939-FISH or (407) 939-3474.

Additional amenities for Resort guests include lobby concierge service, complimentary Wi-Fi, currency exchange, self-service laundry rooms, mail services, and online check-in.

MORE Theme Park Hours

Guest staying at Disney’s Beach Club have access to ADDITIONAL hours in the Disney World theme parks!

Early Theme Park Entry allows guests to enter any of the parks 30 minutes early to get a head start on their day in the parks!

This benefit is available for ANY theme park every day. Please note that guests need a valid theme park ticket for the park they’re planning to visit in order to gain early access.

The Disney World Parks also offer Extended Evening Theme Park Hours for select guests, giving them extra hours in the parks at night! Guests at Disney’s Beach Club qualify for this benefit, as it is exclusively to guests who are staying at a Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Walt Disney World Resort hotel for the length of their stay.

Early Access to Lightning Lanes for Theme Park Attractions

Lightning Lane Multi Pass is an optional paid service available through the My Disney Experience app which allows you to bypass standby lines and enter the Lightning Lane at select attractions in the parks by paying a base price for multiple attractions. When purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can make up to 3 Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections in a park in advance of your visit. 

Additionally, guests may opt to purchase Lightning Lane Single Passes via the My Disney Experience app. Lightning Lane Single Pass is essentially a pay-per-ride service. Guests pay a fee to utilize the Lightning Lane for an individual, in-demand attraction.

DISNEY WORLD RESORT GUEST BENEFIT: Those staying at a Disney World Resort hotel (including Disney’s Beach Club) can purchase and select their first 3 Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections and/or Lightning Lane Single Passes up to seven days in advance of their check-in day for their entire stay (up to 14 days), with all other guests being able to purchase and select their first 3 Lightning Lane Multi Passes three days in advance.

“Hey, Disney!”

“Hey, Disney!” offers “custom voice assistance” to guests staying at Resort hotels in Walt Disney World!

This complimentary service, which works with Alexa on Amazon Echo devices, assists guests with room amenities, guest services, planning, and weather info… AND it brings along LOTS of extra Disney MAGIC to make all of these things a lot more FUN!

Shopping

Of course, you’ll want to grab a souvenir (or ten 😉 ) to remember your Walt Disney World trip and your stay at the Beach Club. And for that, you can stop by Beach Club Marketplace!

This is a shared space, as it also houses the Beach Club’s primary Quick Service dining location.

Look for items unique to the Beach Club along with other Walt Disney World souvenirs.

Beach Club Transportation

Beach Club guests have access to several types of free Disney World Resort transportation!

Beach Club Walkways

A rare perk is that, from the Beach Club, guests have a very short walk to get to EPCOT’s International Gateway (between the park’s United Kingdom and France pavilions).

Guest can also walk to the connected Yacht Club Resort, to the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and to all of the dining and shopping along Disney’s BoardWalk.

Guests may also walk along Crescent Lake to Disney’s Hollywood Studios; however, due to the longer distance to Hollywood Studios, other forms of transportation to Hollywood Studios are provided.

Friendship Boats

Guests may take a Friendship Boat down Crescent Lake to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

The Friendship Boat also makes stops at EPCOT, BoardWalk Inn, and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels.

Disney Skyliner

The International Gateway hosts EPCOT’S Disney Skyliner Station. From EPCOT, the Skyliner has a stop at Disney’s Riviera Resort and continues directly to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort (which serves as the Skyliner Hub).

From Caribbean Beach, guests can then transfer to Disney’s Hollywood Studios (or to Disney’s Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts).

Disney Bus Transportation

Guests also have complimentary access to Disney Bus Transportation to and from Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs.
