Yak and Yeti Restaurant is a a great go-to table service restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

And even though it’s been reopened along with Disney’s Animal Kingdom since mid-July and has a new menu, today we noticed a small but significant change to its kids’ menu!
While checking the menu online today, we noticed that prices on the kids’ entrees have all gone up $1, from $9.79 to $10.79.

Impacted entrees include: a Cheeseburger, Chicken Fried Rice, Grilled Chicken Breast, Teriyaki Chicken Breast, Stir-fry Noodles, Mini Corn Dogs, Mac & Cheese, and Chicken Tenders. Each kids’ entrée comes with two sides and milk or apple juice.

This is a small price increase, but hey, when you’re at Disney World, every dollar matters! An additional $3 for three kiddo meals and the added tip could mean one less Mickey Ice Cream bar if you’re on a tight budget! If Disney updates any more prices, we’ll be sure to let you know!

You’ve got to watch Disney restaurant prices. I used to work for the company and I was friends with a few chefs. What Disney had been doing a couple of years ago, was increase the prices of entrees and cutting the portion size by an ounce. Now that may not sound like a lot, but when you consider the number of entrees their table service restaurants serve, it represents quite a tidy savings to the company, while charging you more. This happened in signature restaurants. Choose wisely.
