It’s getting hot out there, my friends, and it’s time to start talking Dole Whips.
Today, we feature this perennial Disney Foodie fan favorite through the lens of our awesome readers who post on our Flickr Disney Photo Food Extravaganza!
Dole Whip Vanilla Swirl
One of the things I love best about Dole Whips is that there are so many awesome ways to enjoy them. Here, photographer Kelly Tressler has captured one great way to enjoy the treat – swirled with vanilla soft serve!

We’re gonna assume Kelly snapped this pic at Magic Kingdom, where Aloha Isle in Adventureland is the place to grab this refreshing treat.
Dole Whip Float for Two
Next, we move into new drink+snack territory! Behold, the Dole Whip Float.
Photographer: Mandy Jansen
But the real question is…would you share? Mandy Jansen looks to be a generous soul since her float has two spoons!
Dole Whip Float, Disneyland Style
We can never pass up the chance to feature a photo of a Dole Whip from Disneyland. Those of you who have only had the pleasure of an East Coast Dole Whip will be jealous to learn that they enjoy cherries and umbrellas in theirs!

Mile High Dole Whip at Captain Cook’s
UPDATE: Dole Whip is no longer being served at Captain Cook’s, is no longer self-serve, and is no longer available 24 hours a day. You’ll now find Dole Whip at the Pineapple Lanai in Disney’s Polynesian Village in addition to Aloha Isle at the Magic Kingdom. You can also find Dole Whip available intermittently at Animal Kingdom’s Tamu Tamu Refreshments, and at Epcot during some special events. On the upside, you can also get a Dole Whip Float at Pineapple Lanai!
How high can you go? That is definitely the name of the game when you are using the self-serve Dole Whip machine at Captain Cook’s Snack Company.

This counter service eatery, located at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, is one of our favorites — and 24-hour-a-day Dole Whip access is one of the biggest reasons for that!
Dole Whip with Spiced Rum
And don’t forget the Dole Whip with Spiced Rum! This treat is being offered for a limited time at the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival.
I’ll admit — this is our own pic. We couldn’t find a contributed one on our Flickr page, but couldn’t do a Dole Whip post without mentioning it! 🙂

Sorry… but I don’t understand the concept of “Dole Whip Float for Two.”

My family members have almost lost appendages while trying to get me to share my Dole Whip Float. Not going to happen.

I shared the Dole Whip float with my mom! 🙂
Rebecca says
A Dole Whip would never be shared in my family. This is one of the few things that we don’t share at WDW!! A Dole Whip for everyone!!

Sharing is off limits when it comes to the Dole Whip! It’s not a trip to MK without having at least two each!

This may be sacrilegious, and I’m sure I’m risking expulsion from this fine community of Disney foodies, but… I just don’t get the Dole Whip obsession. There, I said it. I do, however, fully intend to give the Dole Whip with spiced rum a try on our next visit. Cause rum makes everything better haha.

I want one now…….
