We don’t know the opening date for Terralina Crafted Italian… yet.
But we do know a few things about this new restaurant coming soon to Disney Springs! Terralina is replacing what was once Portobello Country Italian Trattoria. Fortunately, Chef Tony Mantuano — James Beard Award Winner — is returning from Portobello to create Terralina’s menu, and will be joined once more by Chef Justin Plank who will run the kitchen.
The space itself currently continues its multi-million-dollar refurbishment, inspired by Italy’s lake district and showcasing an open kitchen and dining rooms.
So, not only do we know a few things… we’ve also SEEN a few things, thanks to the Terralina Crafted Italian Facebook Page, where they’re giving us a #SneakPeek at some of the items that will be coming out of the kitchen! As promised, there will be new menu items, but some fan favorites from Portobello will also make their way onto the menu.
You might start your first dinner at Terralina with Ricotta Stuffed Green Olives.
And here are some possibilities for your future Charcuterie Board.
I am loving the look of the returning Chicken Parmesan.
This Sneak Peek is for the seafood fans out there…
And one more, while we’re at it, with the Crab Crostini.
Here’s a quick look at what you might be sipping right from the outdoor veranda bar.
And this is cute… they’ve even offered a Sneak Peek of the Kids’ Menu 🙂 …
… complete with Cheeseburger Pizza!
So! That’s what we know… and we can’t wait to find out more when Terralina Crafted Italian opens it doors!
Are you planning on dining at the new Terralina Crafted Italian? Please let us know with a comment!

I’m a Compass employee and will be vacationing in Orlando 12/23-12/28. Will the restaurant be open by then because I’d love to bring my family of 5 their for a late lunch or early dinner.
DFB Sarah says
Scott, Disney has said Terralina Crafted Italian will open “this fall”, so we would expect it to be open in time for your visit! Keep your eyes peeled for the ADR window to open (and of course we’ll update the blog when we know the opening date for sure!).

Mickey says
When will terallina I crafted Italian restaurant be open and will the old waterfront patio be enclosed with a/c or will it be outside in the heat?
AJ says
Mickey — They were scheduled for this year, but I think they’re pushing it into early 2018 now. I believe there will still be outside seating there.
Kevin says
Website still says fall 2017. It is now December 13 2017. I’m assuming there’s is a more accurate updated open date as this anticipated open date has come and gone ? Days? Weeks? Months?
Thanks ,
AJ says
Kevin — They’re now looking at early 2018.

We loved portabello and enjoyed the outside seating. Hope the new restaurant will have the outside dining over looking the water. It really makes the whole experience.
Tracey says

Tracey, Terralina has not opened yet! We’re eagerly awaiting opening dates!
Nicole says
Does anyone know if it is going to accept the DDP and if so one or two credits? I am super excited to try it. Hoping it is ready when we go spring break.
DFB Sarah says
Nicole, we haven’t heard yet. At present it says no on DisneyWorld.com — but that could change when the restaurant opens (or sometime thereafter).
ANA MARIA NORI says
i’d like to know if the gnocchi with meat ragu will be available at the menu, as well the penne bolognese.
