There’s just something completely perfect about eating an ice cream sundae on Main Street, U.S.A., in the shadow of Walt Disney World’s Cinderella Castle. The simplicity and innocence of that moment is sort of what Walt’s parks are all about: leaving today and entering the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy.
What better way to seize that moment than with an All-American Sundae from the Main Street Plaza Ice Cream Parlor?
The All-American Sundae is comprised of Old-Fashioned Vanilla and Chocolate Ice Cream that’s topped with Hot Fudge, Peanut Butter Drizzle, Whipped Cream, and a beautiful red Cherry. All simple components — and that’s the magic of it.
The classic combination of peanut butter and chocolate and vanilla and chocolate can’t be beat. I love the peanut butter and chocolate chips on top of all the whipped cream. And don’t forget that if you want a little more topping (you know, to mix in once you get through that top layer), you can always order some on the side. 😀
We’ve loved the All-American Sundae since it appeared on the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor’s menu way back in 2013 — and we’ll keep going back for it.

I’ve never had this one…but it looks amazing! It’s so hard to justify plaza ice cream when a citrus swirl is just one land away!
Lee & Robin says
We like the sundaes at the Plaza, but the last couple of times the ice cream had ice crystals in it. Not exactly what we were expecting.

How is this different from the No Way Jose at Beaches and cream?
Essie says
I love the looks of this sundae, but I’d like to try it with vanilla softserve!
Chris says
It’s a mini version of the No Way Jose at Beaches & Cream. It’ll do if our trip doesn’t bring us over to Beach Club.

Had this a couple of times since it was first available and it’s always good even if it is a bit messy to eat, especially when the sun’s really blazing down! We found if you get in in a waffle bowl like the regular Plaza sundae its gooey, melty, stickiness is a bit easer to cope with. Yum.

Rune — awesome tip!
DFB Sarah says
Erica, it’s basically a smaller version.

Essie, just let them know! I’m sure it would be delicious!

The last time I went to Ghiradelli, they wouldn’t sell anything with peanut butter anymore, because of allergies. I was so disappointed.
Michelle says
Can someone please get me the recipe for their peanut butter sauce? I hate to beg, but please!?!?!!
