It’s Christmas in JUNE today! First, the initial list of celebrity narrators has been released for the 2019 Epcot Candlelight Processional (part of the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays). And we also have information about a BRAND NEW fireworks spectacular coming to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year!
The Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show will be brought to party guests by the Hostess with the Mostess, Minnie Mouse! Beloved holiday songs featured in the show will include Joy to the World, Deck the Halls, Up on the House Top, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
Disney shares that the “holiday music will evoke heartfelt moments of home and family, as well as the festive fun of the season before an incredible finale you won’t want to miss.” Oh! And guests will be able to enjoy the fireworks show throughout the park!
Remember, this new fireworks show is part of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party; an extra-ticket event which will take place in the Magic Kingdom on select nights November 8 – December 22, 2019. Party guests may add on to their experience by booking a Holiday Fireworks Dessert Party to view the new show from a reserved viewing area while enjoying a holiday dessert buffet.
Tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are currently available on the Disney World website, or interested guests may call the Disney Reservation Center at 407-939-1872. Find out more information including pricing and dates by visiting our Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party page!

Jacqueline says
I’m going this year…first Christmas trip! I’m desperate for all the holiday news and I’ve purchased the VERY helpful holidays guide. I’m so excited but I’m very stressed about Dining reservations, which I have to book in just under 3 weeks!
DFB Sarah says
Jacqueline, have a magical time!
Arlene says
Can you explain what you meant by “ guest will be able to enjoy the fireworks show throughout the park “? Do you mean that we will be able to see it from any vantage point?
DFB Sarah says
Arlene, Disney says the show can be enjoyed “across the Park.” We guess this means it’s designed to be visible and enjoyable from all vantage points. But we don’t have any specifics on this.
Joanne Fowler says
Once Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is over (after 12/22), will this be the standard fireworks show through the end of the holidays? I will be there 12/23-12/27. Thanks!
DFB Sarah says
Joanne, we expect so, yes!
Halie says
My husband and I are returning and celebrating our 1 year anniversary on December 20th! We’ll be at California Grill and would love to see the fireworks! Do we know an estimated time of when they’ll be starting?
DFB Sarah says
Halie, fireworks are typically at 10PM at the party, but that’s always subject to change.
Angela Schindler says
I’m excited to begin my trip in the 22nd this year with MVMCP tickets for the first time!! 🙂
But I have a question… I have general admission tickets that day too. Should I go to another park for the beginning of the day or be at MK all day due to early closing hours (wondering if crowds would be lower considering that)??
DFB Sarah says
Angela, hard to say if crowds are lighter at MK on party day. It might be nice to get a ton of MK stuff done so you can focus on the Party, but there’s also something nice about arriving just for the Party and really getting that energy. You could check Touring Plans for predictions on crowd levels, too.
