You’ll find Restaurantosaurus in the one and only Dinoland, U.S.A. in Disney World’s Animal Kingdom!
And this fun and quirky-in-the-best-way counter service spot (see what I mean here) will be serving up a new dinner experience for guests starting August 18th, featuring burgers and a build-your-own sundae bar!
For one set price, guests can select an entrée and a side dish, then build their own sundae! The entrée choices will include gourmet burgers, a chicken sandwich, a veggie burger, and a salad, while sides will offer a choice of fries or onion rings served with a house-made dipping sauce.
Dinner also includes a non-alcoholic beverage. (Alcoholic beverages will also be available for extra purchase.)
Guests will also receive a token which can be redeemed for a bowl with two scoops of ice cream. A toppings bar will present the chance to “build your own dig site sundae” by choosing your favorites from among a huge assortment of toppings.
Additionally, “guests will be able to color with fun dinosaur stencils while cast members entertain them with games and stories of the paleontology students who created the restaurant.”
The price will be $22.99 plus tax for adults and $14.99 plus tax for children ages 3-9, or one Quick Service credit for guests on the Disney Dining Plan. Note that regular Counter Service dining will still be available for visiting guests during dinner. Guests interested in the new dining experience, however, may check in at a designated register where they will be brought to a table in a separate dining room. Advance Dining Reservations will be open starting tomorrow, June 12th, on the Disney World website or by calling 407 WDW-DINE for select dates starting August 18th for this dinner-only experience. Disney reminds that walk-ups will be welcome, but subject to availability.

Do you happen to know if the ice cream toppings bar will replace the burger toppings bar they currently have there? Or will the veggies still be available?
Will chicken nuggets be available for kids?
Stacy, no word on this, but we’ll update if we find out!
Website is showing it as Table Service. Where does it say this would be Quick Service?
Megan, we don’t know. Because the regular menu is still being served during lunch and dinner, we think the toppings bar will remain in place. And because the burger-and-sundae diners are described as having separate seating, we’re curious if the sundae bar may be in that area. When we find out, we’ll update!
OK, thank you! I will keep an eye out for updates.
This will be a quick service meal on the dining plan? Will reservations be needed?
Vicki, official word from Disney is that walk-ups are allowed but subject to availability — so they aren’t guaranteed. ADRs opened yesterday (6/12) if you want to try for one!
I tried getting an ADR for this, but it just says to call for a reservation, and when I called yesterday the person didn’t seem to know what I was talking about, and then supposedly had no availability. Has anyone been successful at getting a reservation? I can’t imagine that it was so popular that it immediately sold out. :/
Hey, has anyone managed to make a reservation as yet? I don’t get the option come up on MDE app!
Kads, we checked on this. Looks like “Restaurantosaurus Burgers and Sundaes” comes up as an option online, but it’s not showing the app yet!
Jamie, we’re able to access reservations online (but not on the app).
It says alcoholic drinks available for purchase. Do you know if using the dining plan is it included?
Rachel, the meal should allow for one alcoholic drink on DDP.
It says on the app/website that it’s a TS meal when I’ve done my ADR, but on this blog it says it’s a QS meal – which is it please?
Also, I can’t get an ADR before 4pm – does it not do lunch time ADRs?
Thanks in advance
Hi, Phil! I just checked on DisneyWorld.com to see if I could get some clarity (and confirm what we were told); it does show me that Quick Service is accepted for the meal in addition to standard DDP and Deluxe DDP. Basically: if you wanted to use one of those credits you could, but you can also just use a Quick Service credit. Does that help? Also: only dinner at this time. We’ll watch and report if that changes!
Sarah hi, that’s great – thanks for clarifying, and so quickly too. Shame about only being able to book ADR for dinner though – hope that changes, as I wanted to go there for lunch.
We did this on the first night that is opened and it was great! My kids loved it. The service was excellent, the cast members were excite, the ice cream was delicious!
