Mustard, ketchup, mayo… You name it, we’ll try it! We especially love a nice, spicy kick to our hot dogs. When we spotted the new Spicy City Dog on Award Wieners’ menu, we knew we had to try it!

The jalapeño cheddar sausage is topped with chipotle crema, queso fresco, and pico de gallo. It sits on a toasted potato bun that adds an extra twist to a traditional hot dog.

This hot dog was AMAZING! From the first to the last bite, we tasted a mild, spicy kick. Each flavor from the creamy cheese to the pico de gallo was delicious. The side of potato wedges provided a great way to scoop up any remaining toppings on the plate after we finished the hot dog.

The messiness of the Spicy City Dog was definitely worth it. We may even this one more than the Summer Picnic Dog! You can make your tastebuds do a happy dance by grabbing the Spicy City Dog for $9.29 (before the Annual Passholder discount) at Award Weiners. And, hey, guess what?? You can use the Mobile Order feature if you want to try this fantastic hot dog ASAP.
