In case you didn’t know, Annual Passholders or guests staying at a Disney Resort now have the option to upgrade their standard MagicBands.
MagicBand Upgrade Screen
This means, that for a discounted price, you can upgrade your basic solid colored MagicBand for one with a fun design.
The prices on these MagicBands vary, but they are typically half of what you would pay for the same band if you were to purchase it in the parks.

But, two of these have really caught our eye! Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge officially opens in Hollywood Studios on August 29th. And now, you can get your very own Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge MagicBand for $15. Pretty epic, right?

AND, just in time for this year’s first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which kicks off on August 16th, Disney has added a Halloween MagicBand to the lineup. You can snag this one for $15.

Hello! I purchased the galaxy’s edge one this morning and just got an email they will refund me 14.99 due to a glitch. So they are priced the same as other limited editions at 15 in the app.
Now the big question, what does the rest of the band look like? No one has any pictures of any other angles!
I love the Star Wars one but I couldn’t wait. As soon as Ariel was available I had to snag that for my daughter and got the Disney snacks for myself. I’m soooo loving it.

Where do we hope on to buy the galaxy edge magic band
My question is how the heck is anyone actually getting through to order their magic bands ? I have been trying for weeks to get an order to go through with no success
Kathy, it’s called persistence! It will pay off! When The Lion King band came out about 4 weeks ago, I knew I had to have it. Sometimes it would say make another selection right off the bat. Other times I could assign the band, and then it would say can’t complete. I’d refresh the page, and Simba would be gone. Finally last Wed, I looked at the right time, and by Sat my 2 sisters and I received our bands! Don’t give up. I would go on the site 5-10 times a day. I don’t know how it works exactly, but it seems there’s a rotating system for which bands they offer. Throughout the day it changes, and at one point I didn’t even see Simba for a few days. Good luck!!! Keep up the great work DFB!
I got lucky this morning and got the Galaxy Edge for my husband and Minnie Dots for me. I really want the Mickey Halloween but did not want to risk not getting Galaxy Edge
I second what DisneyDamsel said: Keep checking, multiple times a day; I left the tab open on my screen and switched to/refreshed it often. When my selection was accepted, I almost didn’t believe it.
I’ve been trying to weeks to get 4 magic bands for myself and my family. I finally find 4 that I like, it lets me select them, and puts them in my cart, and then I can’t check out. I called Disney, and they are still aware, but nothing is really being done to resolve the issue. The customer service rep said hopefully it would work better soon. Not really comforting, considering our trip is coming right up, and we only have like 19 days to order bands.
Has anyone heard when passholders will be able to link a credit card to our magic bands??
