Disney World’s Sunshine Churros carts are officially open!
Two Sunshine Churros kiosks have opened in Disney Springs and we’re bringing you a first look and full review of the churros!
You can find one cart in Disney Springs’ West Side and one in the Marketplace. The carts themselves vary a bit from one another. One is wood, with black, turquoise, and yellow accents, while the other is wood, with black, silver and yellow accents. You can’t miss the cheery Sunshine Churros sign on the top of each kiosk!
The menu features seven specialty churros — traditional cinnamon, watermelon, apple cinnamon, Fruity Pebbles, salted caramel, cherry limeade, and peach mango ($5.25 each), and two gourmet churros — strawberry cheesecake and Oreo ($6.25). You can also add a dip (Nutella or Dulce de Leche) to a specialty churro for $1 more.
If you’re on the Disney Dining Plan, we have great news for you — each one of these churros is snack credit-eligible.
We tried ALL nine churro flavors and we’re going to tell you about each one. Let’s get started!
Churros
We first tried the Salted Caramel Churro. This one was fun but tasted more sweet than salty. We would’ve enjoyed more of a salty-sweet flavor, but it was still pretty good.
The Strawberry Cheesecake Churro was a nice change since the churro itself was actually flavored (AND it comes with cream cheese dip!). It wasn’t our favorite but it was still good! It wasn’t sickeningly sweet, and the cream cheese dip paired well with the churro.
The Traditional Cinnamon Churro was delicious, but we’d recommend trying a new flavor since there are so many choices!
The Apple Cinnamon Churro was yummy as well. We could easily taste both the apple and cinnamon flavors. If you want something a bit more unique than the Traditional Cinnamon, this churro is a great choice.
We absolutely LOVED the Cherry Limeade Churro! It was sweet and tangy in the best way possible. The cherry-lime combination was unique and wonderful.
The Fruity Pebbles Churro tasted exactly like the cereal. It wasn’t our very favorite, but it was fun and the glitter was cute as well. Kiddos will probably love this one!
The Oreo Churro was like a big brownie with a sweet vanilla filling. It didn’t really taste much like a churro, but it was yummy and will likely be a hit with kids!
The Peach Mango Churro was our other favorite in addition to the Cherry Limeade Churro. We loved the flavor combination and would definitely order it again.
The last one we tried was the Watermelon Churro. It tasted exactly like sour watermelon candy and we really enjoyed it. If you’re looking for a sour candy flavor, this is the churro for you!
Overall
We were very impressed with our first visit to Disney Springs’ Sunshine Churros carts. We had high expectations since these carts originated in Downtown Disney, and we were very glad our expectations were met. The Cast Members were so kind to us and we could tell they really loved what they were doing.
The next time you’re in Disney Springs, be sure to check out Sunshine Churros!

Many people will probably drop their jaw at this comment, but I am not an American so, my question…
What’s a churro????
DFB Sarah says
Non, no jaws dropping here! Churros are basically fried dough, typically made into thin sticks or curved shapes, rolled in cinnamon-sugar.
Edward Ranieri says
Are these churros gluten free by any chance? We know that Disney always tries to accommodate everyone with their allergies and my daughter has celiac disease.
DFB Sarah says
Edward, as far as I know, they are not gluten free. If I learn otherwise, I’ll update!
Billie Himbaugh says
Do we know if they accept Disney Gift Cards?
