World Premiere Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Movies has a new vegan dessert option!
The Disney parks have really focused on expanding their plant-based options so it has come with little surprise that we’ve seen new vegan options pop-up everywhere from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to the All-Star Resorts. Especially after Disney announced that they would be introducing new plant-based options around Walt Disney World. And today, we spotted a new vegan cookie dough option and we can’t wait to let you know what we think!
We’ve been suckers for the Cookie Dough from the All-Star Resorts for a while now. That’s why we were totally jazzed to try the new Vegan Cookie Dough option to see how it compared.
The Vegan Brownie Cookie Dough is made with sugar, brown sugar, unsweetened apple sauce, salt, canola oil, vanilla bean extract, cocoa powder, and heat-treated wheat flour. And while this option is vegan it is NOT gluten-free.
We found this cookie dough pretty tasty, especially considering we like our butter! But, it’s definitely enjoyable. The chocolate flavor is really good (you can taste the real cocoa!) and it is close enough to real cookie dough that it could fill a cookie dough craving without much trouble.
Our only issues came from the texture. Something about the vegan recipe makes for an almost chalky texture, which kind of reminded us of a protein bar. Still, it’s not super disruptive. Given the choice, I think we’d still pick the O.G. regular cookie dough, but we have to say this portion is pretty yummy!
It’s a good size too! We were surprised by how deceptively generous the portion is considering how small the little cup looks. The flavor is quite rich, which may make it a bit difficult to finish.
All in all, it’s a tasty treat that reminds us of brownie batter and we think it’s a super yummy vegan option (even if we miss the creaminess of regular cookie dough). Grab this vegan option for yourself at World Premiere Food Court for just $3.99!
