While we’ve been fa-la-la-la-loving Disney World’s Christmas decorations this year from the enormous tree at Disney’s Contemporary Resort to the Gingerbread House inside Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort’s lobby, here’s a look at some of the MOST AWESOME Christmas displays WE’VE SEEN YET!
And they weren’t made by Disney World either, but rather by its GUESTS!
We’re not sure who the creative tour de force behind these impressive Christmas displays are — which we’ll get to in a sec, BUT FIRST, let’s set the scene! You may already know from our previous coverage that folks who stay at Disney’s Fort Wilderness are SERIOUS when it comes to their holiday traditions! They’ve been known for their unique golf cart decorations and parades — perhaps you may have spotted some yourself if you’ve ever made you way to Pioneer Hall to see the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue, their raucous Western-style dinner show!
We love seeing Fort Wilderness lookin’ all festive this time of year! Although the weather outside was frightful (and we were getting a little drenched standing in the rain!) Pioneer Hall looked so nice and cozy with all its Christmas trimmings!
And how stinkin’ adorable is this Christmas tree outside with its wagon wheels, lanterns, cowboy boots, and horseshoe decorations! Why, it’s a real knee-slapper!
All this tack and equipment must mean we’re near Tri-Circle D Ranch, which offers Holiday Sleigh Rides this time of year!
Okay, we feel like we’ve built up the suspense long enough — it’s time to show you the Christmas spectacle we all came here for… BEHOLD! The MOST decked out Christmas campsite at Disney’s Fort Wildnerness Resort we’ve ever SEEN!
It’s a lot to take in, but WHATTA DISPLAY! Such pageantry! So many personal touches! We’re practically bowled over by its stunning beauty! We love the mash-up of vintage pieces like the Disney character blow molds in front of the RV with the newer, modern inflatables flanking the motorcoach on either side!
Plus we spy a ton of holiday plush Mickeys and Minnies on the dashboard! It looks like these guys REALLY love Christmas AND Disney — two of our favorite things, TOO!
But that’s not all — because what Fort Wilderness campsite would be complete without its golf cart for gettin’ around? Of course, these guys weren’t slackin’ when it came to making theirs look the part of MOST EPIC HOLIDAY WHIP EVER! They decked theirs out with garland, lights, ornaments, and even a giant stuffed Mickey and Minnie on the back! Even the tent they have for parking their golf cart underneath is decorated! Talk about CONVICTION!
We’re not entirely sure if this is all just the same campsite’s doing, but the display went on…
…and on…
…and on! Seriously, folks! We’ve watched those great Christmas light fight shows before, and this campsite rivals some of the competition we’ve seen on TV!
You gotta hand it to these campers — they sure know how to PARTY! Hope you guys have a wonderful holiday, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
