Disney parks are special places during the holiday season, especially for foodies like us. Parks and resorts create incredible works of art out of gingerbread, chocolate, icing, and other delicious ingredients; shops and stores put out holiday-themed merchandise and treats that will win over your pickiest relative; and the confectionery starts making Peppermint Fudge while the Candy Palace heats up for some candy cane construction.
We’ve tried to capture as much of this holiday spirit as possible this year, which is our first Disney Food Blog Christmas:
Walt Disney World’s Gingerbread Displays: Here are over 40 photographs of the Gingerbread displays in Disney’s Contemporary, Beach Club, Grand Floridian, and Boardwalk Resorts, along with two in Epcot.
Collectible Gingerbread House 2009 Pins: Every year, Disney releases trading pins corresponding to their Gingerbread House displays. Here are this year’s pins, along with instructions on how to purchase them from WDW Mail Order.
Disneyland Candy Canes: Wondering about the Disneyland tradition of homemade candy canes? Here’s the post with the info — and a video!
Holiday-Flavored Fudge: For a glimpse at some Candy Cane Fudge, head over to this Fudge Primer post.
Holiday-Colors Dole Whip and More: Here’s our first look at some holiday-themed treats popping up in Disney World.
