Our minds still can’t get over the fact that it won’t be too long before we get a new Coco attraction in Disney California Adventure!!
During the D23 2024: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, we had the confirmation of the new attraction and that it will be a boat ride where we’ll see music play a large role. So, now we wanted to do a deep dive into the concept art and see if we could glean any info about the new Coco attraction coming to Disney California Adventure!
Some big changes are taking place at Disneyland Park!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is under construction and set to open soon, the area around Haunted Mansion is getting an overhaul, and Critter Country is becoming Bayou Country. There are quite a few new additions! And amid all this construction, Disney added an adorable new detail to the park.
The Disney parks have definitely earned a special place in our hearts — and it looks like we’re not the only ones who feel that way!
From the magical atmosphere to the one-of-a-kind experiences, there’s just something about the Disney parks that feels extra special. In fact, they’re even popular with celebrities, whether they’re stopping in to film a show or just there for fun!
From the massive D23 Ultimate Fan Event in Anaheim, California, we learned that a new Coco attraction is coming to the Disneyland Resort.
The attraction will be a boat ride in Disney California Adventure that, unsurprisingly given the plot of the film, will see music play a large role.
Planning a Disney trip can be challenging, but we’ll tell you this: it’s easier to plan for Disneyland than it is for Disney World.
Okay, why are we bringing this up? Well, NOW is a great time to go to Disneyland, especially with it being Halloween Time (which is a VERY big deal at the resort), although the holidays are a great time to visit, too. We’ll also admit the weather is SO nice this time of year (and you may even need a sweater at nights), especially if you don’t want to deal with humidity (it’s non-existent!). If you have a Disney Visa, though, you have a NEW excuse to book a Disneyland trip because you can save money RIGHT NOW.
Disney California Adventure’s incredibly popular World of Color show almost looked very different.
The World of Color water show debuted at the Disneyland Resort in 2010 and has gone through a few different iterations over the past several years. Today, it has evolved into World of Color — ONE, honoring Disney’s centennial. The show occurs at Paradise Gardens Park (formerly Paradise Pier) in Disney California Adventure and features special water effects, projections, and sound and lighting effects. It also almost featured drones.
You know what makes us more excited than Disney food? NEW Disney food.
Yes, we love it when Disney introduces new items to restaurant menus and we love it when new snacks drop. In Disneyland, we’re seeing new food being added ALL THE TIME (and it’s almost too hard to keep up with it, but we do TRY). However, we recently saw some menu changes at Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio in Downtown Disney, so you KNOW we had to go check it out. Come with us!
Celebrities may not be juuust like us, but in some ways, they are, at least when it comes to being Disney adults.
EVERYONE knows that John Stamos is the BIGGEST Disney adult around, right (and we love him for it). We’ve also seen celebrities visit Disney Parks often, including Jordan Fisher (who provided vocals for “Happily Ever After,” one of our FAVORITE Disney Parks songs), Iain Armitage from Young Sheldon, celebrity power couple Ciara and Russell Wilson, and more. One celebrity just visited Disneyland, and let’s just say this isn’t the first time the Oscar winner has graced us with her presence in Disney Parks.
Disneyland is undergoing some MASSIVE changes. There are so many that you might have trouble keeping up with them all. That’s why we’re here to help!
Not only is the first Coco-themed ride EVER coming to Disney California Adventure, but that park is also getting a brand-new Avatar-themed land (completely different from the one in Disney World, too!). Over in Disneyland, construction is well underway for a new queue and gift shop for Haunted Mansion, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is getting closer to completion ahead of its opening date in November. Well, now, we’ve noticed something NEW at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure — and of course, we had to share!
