Earlier this week, we learned that character dining is coming BACK to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Yes, Hollywood & Vine, a buffet in the Echo Lake section of the park is returning on September 25th with some spooky twists, but being able to greet Minnie Mouse and friends from a safe social distance while they were Halloween costumes isn’t the only change…
…there are TONS of menu changes as well.
The BIGGEST change is that Hollywood & Vine will be open for lunch and dinner only. Previously, this spot was available for a breakfast buffet, but for now, you’ll have to get your Mickey Waffles elsewhere.
So, what will you find for lunch and dinner? Previously, this spot kept things simple with a menu that featured Salads, Freshly Made Soup, Pastas, Baked Breads, Roasted Carved Meats, Crab Claws, Seasonal Fish Peel-n-Eat Shrimp, Chicken Vegetable Creation, House-made Sweets, and Soft-serve Ice Cream.
Now, it seems as though lunch will be served family-style and with an entree choice. The first course will be a family-style salad, where you can choose from a Chopped Salad Bowl with Mixed Greens, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Red Onion, Cornbread Croutons, and Homemade Smokehouse Ranch Dressing or a Plant-based Chopped Salad Bowl with Mixed Greens, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Red Onion, Cornbread Croutons, and Plant-based Ranch Dressing.
Adult entree choices have also been added to the lunch menu and include: Garlic and Cracked Black Pepper Prime Rib of Beef, Shrimp Macaroni and Cheese, Seared Fresh Salmon with Grain Mustard Beurre Blanc, Carved Herb Roasted Turkey Breast, Pork Osso Bucco, or Pan Roasted King Trumpet Mushrooms. Some of these entrees have been spotted on the buffet line before.
Thus far, Disney has not updated their website with children’s menu items.
What’s for dessert, you ask? Apple Blueberry Pie, Chocolate S’mores Pie, Cherry Lemon Pie, Banana Cream Pie, or Vanilla Creme Brulee. Pie fans, you are in LUCK!
The cocktail menu also got an update. The Captain’s Mai Tai is gone, as is the Celebrity Margarita. But the Grandma’s Picnic Punch (Vodka, Peach Schnapps, Crème de Cassis, Light Lemonade, and Pineapple Juice), Mowie Wowie (Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, Melon Liqueur, Peach Schnapps, Orange Juice, and Pineapple Juice), and Dad’s Electric Lemonade (Vodka, Blue Curaçao, Sweet-and-Sour, and Sprite) are moving over here from 50’s Prime Time Café.
The full rules and pricing of the new Hollywood & Vine experience have yet to be revealed, but when we eat here, we’ll let you know how it all turns out! And if you want to witness all of these menu changes for yourself, reservations for the Halloween themed lunches and dinners will open on September 11th!

I ate here once and it was only so-so, but I’ve always loved the Primetime 50’s Cafe.
