There’s a NEW attraction overhaul coming to Disney World!
Soarin’ Around the World
Soarin’ Around the World is getting a patriotic makeover for the 250th birthday of the U.S.A., changing into Soarin’ Across America. Disney had already shared some details about the new version of the ride, but now we know when it will debut.
According to the Disney World website, Soarin’ Across America will debut on May 26th, 2026. To make way for the changes, Soarin’ Around the World will close on May 13th, 2026.

The Disney World website also notes that Soarin’ Across America will be a limited-time journey for the 250th birthday celebration. However, Disney hasn’t shared if the current iteration of Soarin’ Around the World will return afterward. The new version of the ride will be a very similar flight-style format with large screens and iconic scents.

If you’re visiting EPCOT and Disney World on May 26th or later this summer, you’ll be able to experience a variety of other new offerings. The revamped Walt Disney Studios land is opening at Hollywood Studios with a new Disney Jr. show, Bluey is coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Toy Story pals are taking over The Diamond Horseshoe in Magic Kingdom for a few months. Also, GoofyCore will return to CommuniCore Hall in EPCOT. It’s going to be a big summer!
