Disney does a great deal of work to make Disney World feel like a magical place, whether you’re in the parks or at a Disney World hotel. This is why so many folks insist on staying inside the “Disney bubble” when they visit the resort.

However, sometimes things can still go wrong at Disney World. We’ve seen everything from fire alarms to unexpected construction to dragons catching fire. Well, today, one Disney World hotel, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, had a really bad day...so bad that it was raining…INSIDE the hotel.
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is a value resort in Disney World. Today, someone posted a video on TikTok showing that a part of the ceiling at the hotel’s food court, Landscape of Flavors, caved in and sprang a pretty big leak. Water was POURING out of the ceiling. OH NO! Here’s a look at what happened:

Granted, things like this do sometimes happen, although you may visit Disney World ALL the time and never see anything like this. If you do, though, make sure that Cast Members are alerted. They will know what to do and will know how to keep everyone safe while they call for someone to come repair the issue. We can guarantee that it will probably be repaired quickly. Disney is FAST when something like that happens.

It’s also likely this area will be blocked off for a while while repairs are happening, as well as while clean-up is being done on it. So just pay attention, and don’t let it ruin your day. But it does bring up the question: “Should I wear a poncho INSIDE my hotel?”
