May 26th cannot come soon enough in Disney World. While there are tons of openings happening, for me, I only have my eyes on the prize: Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.Ā
The newly rethemed roller coaster opens to the public on May 26th in Hollywood Studios, but previews have given us an early look at the attraction and have made all of my Muppet dreams come true. Before you ride, there’s something you should know: there’s a LOT.
What’s there a lot of? Well, basically everything. The whole ride can be pretty overwhelming because there is SO much. We’re going to be talking about some specifics, so if you’re trying to avoid spoilers, look away!
There are so many hidden details on the attraction that it can be totally overwhelming. You’ll need to ride it quite a few times to catch all the details. As a Muppet enthusiast, I thought I’d recognize every single little reference instantly, but to be honest, there’s so much to take in, all while riding a new ride.
Let’s start in the queue. You’ll need to check out all the different framed pictures on the walls. There are tons of Muppet characters represented, and it’s nice to see some of the more niche ones on the ride.
Then the preshow! Oh, the glorious preshow. It’s pretty short, so you’ll really want to take it all in. While you might be distracted by the Scooter animatronic on the left side, there are more details around the whole recording booth, both for Muppets and Aerosmith. There’s even some Muppet*Vision references (thank goodness). You’ll probably want to rewatch some Muppet movies and TV shows to try to catch all the references.
Once you’re through the preshow, you’re going to be hit with a ton of hidden details. You might be distracted by the ride vehicles zooming off in front of you, but don’t forget to look past the cars and to the left as you continue to the loading station.
There’s literally a whole caged area full of details. We didn’t have too much time standing here, but I just know there’s more to find. As you get closer to boarding, don’t forget to look to the left at the brick wall and door.
Of course, on the ride, there are things to look at and at the unloading station, so keep your eyes peeled! We’re not sure how many rides it will take to catch allĀ the details, but we need to collect every song on theĀ tracklist, so we’re not mad to ride again and again.
Make sure you keep following Disney Food Blog for more details about all of the openings coming to Disney World, so you’re best prepared for your next vacation.

All of your posts is just making more excited to ride! I won’t be going until 2027 with my granddaughter. So looking forward to this! Sad that I never got to experience Aerosmith’s version though. My youngest daughter did back in 2004 or 2005 with a field trip from school. She brought me back an Aerosmith T-shirt souvenir, which I still have and plan on wearing when I ride the Muppets version as a salute to the greatest rock band of all time IMO!
I’m a wimp and can’t do this coaster, Hubby swears there’s an “out” for people like me. But I’m terrified I will end up on the ride. But I am a huge Muppet fan, so I want to see all the cool preshow stuff, any tips for a scaredy cat like me? Someone else said to find a CM and let them know, but once again, I don’t want to end up on the ride….
What’s the WARNING?
The warning is that there’s a lot and it can be overwhelming
All you have to do if you don’t want to ride is let the Cast Member know and they will let you exit. You will never be forced to ride. š
Is the roller coaster itself new or just refurbished from Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster?
